Following attainment of our initial certification three years ago, Team GeoLang are extremely proud to announce our recertification under ISO/IEC 27001:2013 following the recent external audit of our compliance to information security.

The ISO 27001 certification, deemed the only auditable international standard that comprehensively defines the requirements of an information security management system (ISMS), ensuring both our critical infrastructure and data is appropriately secure and protected, also covers our award-winning Ascema data security suite – providing further reassurance to our customers that our stringent security controls, both in relation to our operational processes and products, consistently meet our high standards and quality of service.

Dr Debbie Garside, GeoLang CEO, commented: “We are very proud to have been recertified under ISO/IEC 27001. Information security has always been a major focus for GeoLang, and our recertification furthers affirms our continuing commitment to information security at all levels of the business – whilst also providing the necessary guarantee to our customers and partners that are security processes, policies, and services reliably adhere to the highest standard. My sincere thanks go very much to Team GeoLang, especially Danielle Allan who is our ISO 27001 compliance lead, for supporting and maintaining these high standards through day to day good practise.”

The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification was achieved by GeoLang in 2016. An external audit is conducted every three years, with annual surveillance – as well as internal audits – scheduled intermediately.
