Account Executive

GeoLang is a dynamic software development company based at CBTC in Cardiff. Awarded the UK’s Most Innovative Small Cyber Security Company, as well as being a finalist in the Cloud Innovation World Cup, we are looking to expand our team!

As GeoLang’s Account Executive, you will be responsible for assisting the management team in handling, co-ordinating and developing the firm’s strategic relations with current and prospective customers, as well as leveraging and generating your own pipeline to support our Go-To-Market strategy and achieve sales targets.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Responsible for growing both sales pipeline and sales revenue;

  • Identify, qualify, sort, and track leads;

  • Self-starter who enjoys working in quota-driven and fast-growing environment;

  • Research and document relevant contact information for leads and/or existing clients;

  • Conduct outbound prospecting calls;

  • Exceptional cold-call prospecting using consultative phone skills which will include the ability to clearly articulate, inspire, project confidence, influence, overcome objections, and remain professional throughout;

  • Stay up-to-date with new features and product launches;

  • Utilize the CRM to ensure activities are documented properly, opportunities are forecasted accurately, and adequate information regarding the prospect and/or opportunity is communicated;

  • Maintain knowledge of market conditions and competitive activities

  • Any other duties as required to support the GeoLang team!

It is vital you are self-sufficient with a passion to succeed, as well as possessing strong customer service and communication skills with a professional approach (presentation, verbal and written) and strong organisational skills. A high level of computer literacy, which includes the use of cloud CRMs and internal IT systems, is also highly desirable.

Our successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for technology, the ability to work to targets and deadlines, as well as demonstrate commercial awareness and customer focus.
